This course is designed for the student wanting to pursue a career in veterinary science.  Emphasis is on accessing research materials, basic animal care, communication, record keeping, and employability skills.  Students will study anatomy and physiology, animal nutrition, infectious diseases, principles of surgery, genetics, and pharmacology.  A review of career opportunities and preparation for employment will also be studied.
