This is the first class of the Agriculture career pathway and is open to all students.  It is strongly recommended for all beginning agriscience students, veterinary sciences, ornamental horticulture, agriculture business students, and those exploring an extended studies program in these subject areas. Students are given an insight into the importance of the agriculture industry in our lives and to society. Introductory study units cover agriculture and society, record keeping (FFA record book), animal science, plant science, leadership training (public speaking, parliamentary procedure-debate, judging teams, Supervised Agriculture Experience projects) and career opportunities.  This course is a recommended elective for college or university bound students majoring in Agriculture, Business, or Science.
